Bockhorn

Friday 12 to Sunday 14 June 2009

Words and pictures by Ben Teuben

Bockhorn is a small rural town in the north-west of Germany, between Oldenburg and Wilhelmshaven.  The brochure listed 539 semi-professional to professional traders, it would have taken at least two days to see them all.  It was so busy, I hardly got a chance to do quality pictures without lots of people appearing in the image and after the last one, the batteries were flat!  Prices were quite reasonable (ie: cheaper than elsewhere in Germany).

Dirk had the luck of the day, finding an Alpino front fork assembly for €12.00!
